Barnstormer Distillery in Rockford will host a pig roast, bourbon tasting and cigar event from 4-8 p.m. on June 8 to raise funds for the Allen J. Lynch Medal of Honor Veterans Foundation. Food will be provided by Northside BBQ, and cigars will be available from Bad Ash Cigar Co. Cost is $100 per person with 100 percent of proceeds going to Veterans in need. Lynch will be available for photographs during the event, and Barnstormers will sell limited edition bottles signed by the Medal of Honor recipient.
