Museum bids adieu to Angie Imbrogno

The Italian American Veterans Museum lost one of its staunchest supporters with the passing of Angeline Imbrogno. Angie and her husband, Ralph (pictured), were among the museum’s founding board members. A longtime leader of the Italian American War Veterans Auxiliary, she served as president of the Joseph Gentile Post #2 as well as state and national president. She spent her professional career in banking, working at Union Bank of Switzerland for 15 years as an executive secretary and overseas account administrator, and at U.S Bank for 12 years as an executive administrative assistant for the trust department. She was a member of the Calabresi in America Organization and the Italian American Executives of Transportation. She was also active in the Italo American Soccer Club “Maroons” and the Women’s Club at Sacred Heart Church in Melrose Park.
