Museum welcomes distinguished final guest

Longtime Veterans advocate Greg Padovani was the last person to tour the museum before the massive pack-and-move campaign between Christmas and the New Year. A 12-year Veteran of the Army and Army Reserve, Padovani has served as chairman of the Veterans Committee of Arlington Heights for two decades. He was given a tour of the museum by IAVM President Joe Troiani, Curator Steve Corbo and Executive Vice President Paul Basile. “Thanks again for the GREAT tour of IAVM! I was deeply impressed and appreciative for what you all have accomplished!” Padovani wrote afterward. “I hope that your move to new digs is going well. Please keep me in mind when you want to announce the new location.”
