Prairie State College will host a Veterans Job/Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 15 in the atrium of the main building at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. Open to Veterans, service members and their families, the fair will feature employment and volunteer opportunities; housing, legal and educational information; general health screenings; and a host of other resources. Workshops will be presented by the Will County Veterans Assistance Commission. More than 35 vendors will be in attendance, including state and local departments of Veterans affairs.
