Giving Tuesday a HUGE success!

Thanks to the overwhelming kindness of our friends and matching-grant benefactors, the Italian American Veterans Museum was able to raise NEARLY $7,000 in the course of our Giving Tuesday campaign. Those funds will prove crucial during the lean winter months ahead. We’d like to acknowledge those benefactors whose matching funds proved so pivotal to the success of our campaign:

Retired surgeon Dr. Paul Rubino
Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy, Vietnam War
In memory of the brave Marines with whom he was honored to serve

Angeline Imbrogno
Past National President, Italian American War Veterans Auxiliary
In honor of her husband Ralph Imbrogno
Past State President, Italian American War Veterans
and an Army Corporal attached to the 7th Infantry Division, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 13th Combat Engineer Battalion during the Korean War

Jim Distasio Jr., Owner and CEO of the M&J Group
In honor of his family — Constantino “Dean” Distasio, John “Jack” Cullen, James Gurgone, Michael Gurgone, Tony Fratto, Anthony Urso, James Urso, William Urso, Ben Urso, Frank Urso Jr., Rocky Urso, Michael Urso and Jeremiah McCarthy — who served during World War II, the Korean War and peacetime
